'Emergency and I' is their other real good album, but I think I only really love like 4 songs off if it.

The Ones We Love

The Ones We Love is a project highlighting young and talented
photographers from around the world. Each artist contributed six
photographs of the person(s) who is most important to them, taken
outdoors in a natural setting. The goal of the website is to portray
the people who are loved, cherished, and inspirational to these
artists, and also showcase the differences and similarities in the
photographs each of them took within the same guidelines.











There's some amazing work in this vaguely collaborative project. I don't know who put this all together, but it's a bit of an over run idea. Granted, I love alot of the work that's on here, and I like how some of these short series' can get incredibly intimate with their subject, which is kind of hard with someone you're not incredibly close with on a lot of levels.

Some of these are entirely contrived piles of garbage that seem to want to showcase their current love obsession. That's all fine and dandy, but the photos that come from that are a way bit detached, and really not that interesting.

The series I posted is from a girl named Anna-Lisa Liiver.

Embrace

Possibly one of my favorite bands ever. With lyrics that bring up alot of questions and also challenge all the right issues. I hope you all enjoy this album as much as I have for the last few years.

Embrace was a short-lived post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C., which lasted from the summer of 1985 to the spring of 1986 and was influential in the creation of emotive hardcore. The band included Ian MacKaye of Minor Threat with three former members of his brother Alec's band The Faith: guitarist Michael Hampton, drummer Ivor Hanson, and bassist Chris Bald. The only recording released by the quartet was their self-titled album Embrace.

Following the breakup of Embrace, MacKaye rejoined former Minor Threat drummer Jeff Nelson to form Egg Hunt. Bald moved on to the band Ignition, and drummer Ivor Hanson paired up with Hampton again in 1992 for Manifesto.

During the band's formative years, some fans started referring to their and fellow innovators Rites of Spring's music as emocore, a term vocalist Ian MacKaye publicly disagreed with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbdh0Qm_5A0&feature=related

Small Brown BIke

I forgot how good they are, and how good their lyrics are. Dead reckoning is an amazing album to get you through a rut.

All of the lyrics on this album are amazingly written. Just what I needed today, and lately.


This album is definitely one of my top 10's of all time.
